Allen County Law Enforcement Administrative Staff consists of 2 full time personnel.  The Law Enforcement Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.  Multiple duties are performed daily including the processing of Court Documents, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Vehicle Inspections, Concealed Carry Applications, Offender Registration, processing of Warrants and Bonds, Dispatching Calls, and customer service.

A VIN check is required if you purchase a vehicle with an out-of-state title or if you move to Kansas with an out-of-state vehicle.  A VIN inspection is required prior to obtaining Kansas tags and registration.  VIN inspections can be done at the Allen County Law Enforcement Center during regular business hours or after hours by appointment.  You will need the following items for us to process a VIN inspection;  valid driver's license, original title, $10.00, and the vehicle.
